Math not only provides vital life skills for students. It’s also fun! This new supplement for elementary students explores key math concepts by taking them on a trip through an amusement carnival. As they take on puzzles and numbers challenges, they will build skills that will help them for years to come. Whimsical illustrations make this tab as much fun as a real carnival (and can double as a coloring activity). All newspaper activities are tied to listed education standards. FREE POSTER. Samples available JULY 1.

Comparing Prices—When spending money, it is important to compare and understand prices—and not just when buying tickets at a carnival! Search the ads in the newspaper for prices of five foods or toys you like. List the items in order from the cheapest to the most expensive. Create a graph that compares the prices for the foods/toys you found. For added challenge, create a graph for all the foods/toys found by the class in the newspaper.
