Sample Newspaper Activity
Some primates communicate with expressions, rather than sounds. Look through today’s newspaper for photos that show people saying things without words. Look at the people’s faces - do they look angry or happy? Are their hands in their pockets or are they pointing a finger at someone or something? Examine each photo very closely. Then cut out three to five photos and write captions that express the body language in words.
