E-Editions capitalize on students’ interest in Internet resources, introduce the resources of information technology and strengthen the electronic skills students will need for career success in the 21st century. The weekly current events feature “e-Edition Plus” connects with this new technology and also tests and improves reading comprehension with multiple-choice questions in the style of state tests. Each week a 450-word news feature explores an issue in the news from a kids’ perspective, and multiple-choice questions test comprehension from the reading passage. A “Talk About the News” question can be used as a writing or discussion prompt and “Explore Your e-Edition” activities send students into the e-Edition to learn more. Written to national and state standards; 8.5 by 11 format; pricing by circulation $25,$45, $65 per week.
